I decided to look more in depth at some of the pieces the subjects are wearing in Markus Schinwald's paintings and decided to attempt to make my own. As I got more into it, I decided to add a 'barrier' of sorts, covering a part of the mask so it can be worn in a few different ways, I got another one of my flatmates to model the mask and these are some first hand images. I felt afterwards that the mask should be worn so that it covers the eyes, as they are one of the key aspects to someone's identity, so to cover them would feed in well with my vision...no pun intended.
