Emotional Masks?

I saw an advertisement on TV last night for the 2012 BAFTA Awards and realised that the trophy itself is a mask, an obvious link to the famous comedy and tragedy masks of theatre. It got me thinking about 'emotional masks' and the idea of masks not only concealing the face, but ones which can portray a completely different emotion to the viewer than the emotion felt by the wearer. You could say that we all wear masks to sometimes veil our true feelings and emotions.
